New Extension on the way to emulate KollectionPro

Post by RM2017 » 2017-03-01 15:30

Here is something that looks hopeful it will try to emulate as closely as possible Kollection Pro version.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Dreamweaver MySQLi extension tools.

The Dreamweaver Extension tools are slated for public release during the first quarter of 2017 to coincide with additional development/coding tools that are being released from one of our partner companies.

Tentative public pricing for the Dreamweaver MySQL extension tools will
be $599.00 for the "Pro" version and $199.00 for the "Lite" version.
Prepay customers will receive both versions.

However, we are currently in discussions with Adobe on the possibility of the inclusion of our MySQLi tools embedded directly into a future
release of Dreamweaver as a native behavior so the above information may change prior to the public release.

FYI i paid up front for that that MySQLi, extension, it never transpired/was never released and I had to get my money back, it seems to have been a long, long time in development and way, way beyond the promised released date (I think we might be in to years over)due now) ... So I don't hold your breath....

I paid up front too and it's been frustrating thats for sure but I figured $85 to potentially get $700 worth of product was worth the gamble.

Got and email from them earlier this weeks saying to to watch for announcement the last week of May 2017.

Is it a real or fake news?
Soon will be available a new version of "Kollection Pro" (ADDT)?

Not the real thing something similar. However apparently they already in talks with Adobe to include part of it into dreamweaver. We all knows what happened the last time when Adobe got involved.

Could be just the cynical me talking here...

News about the new extension?
Even this new delivery date (last week of May) was not respected.

I also paid $85 dollars September 2015 can you believe!
I have chased frequently over the last 3 years

I received this begining of August 2018
The extension project is still progessing. However, due to ontractual obligations we cannot comment on the exact release date except to say that it it will be soon and hopefully by early fall. The release will be handled by a different company and they control the exact release date, public marketing, etc. If you prefer to get a refund for your pre-purchase, please let us know. However, your pre-purchase will be honored when the app is released to the public and you will receive the full, enhanced version at that time

Interesting, I have dabbled with wappler but it is heavily reliant on using bootstrap 4 and is a typical release where it is a half hearted completion and expects early adopters to put it right...
I really need something like Kollection where i am in control, i really hope Adobe doesn't fuck this up again

Cheers

Hello all,
Webassist has just updated his Data Bridge 2 to support MySQLi.

After dismissing ADDT, I use it now.
