upgrading a website from kollection 3.7 to addt?

Post by antonio » 2010-10-08 13:28

Hi all,
I have dreamweaver 8 + Kollection pro 3.7 installed.
All my websites are created using this config.

Now I succesfully installed dreamweaver cs4 + addt.
Is there a simple way to upgrade a website from kollection to addt?
Or have I to keep websites created with dw8+kollection separated from new websites created with dw cs4+addt?

Hi Tony,
I honestly don't know. I would think there are going to be differences and you would need to keep the old setup.

I would suggest you publish a "small" site to a subdomain and attempt to edit it with your new installation. You should soon find out if it will work or not.

What are you going to do about KTML?

What are you going to do about KTML?
I will use the good old FCKeditor (not CKeditor) since it has all features I need (image upload and so on...).
After setting few dynamic forms with it, I can apply it with ease.

If you think this can be useful to others, I would put here the instructions to add FCKeditor to Dynamic forms.

Can you read/translate italian? If so, I would copy/paste here the italian instruction to be translated. If you can't translate I'll do my best to translate it for you.

Ciao ;).
