Patching your includes folder with the files available for download on the main site should be good enough.
Only one of my servers still has 5.3 the rest are all on at least 5.4.42 and running without problems.

Fred.... just to clarify, are you saying the current "5.3 Updates" that are available are working fine up to this point? (not including MySQLi)

The interakt updates on the main site already works up to php 5.6.28.
Using mysql2i.function available on phpclasses website you can make it work with mysqli with the problem being php7 issues as far as I can tell.

What do you mean by "The interakt updates on the main site already works up to php 5.6.28"? I never found anything about this. PHP7 issues will be resolved after I get it running on PHP5.5

I didn't bother to change the title of the files.
This site and all the others on my servers are all powered by Interakt (Not ADDT) and running on php 5.6.28
I don't know what the differences is between the core files of Interakt and ADDT

ADDT now also working like a charm with php7 an mysqli, with a small conversion script. Costed a few dollars, but was worth it.

Hi,
Any progress on this? I'd be willing to share in the cost.
Thanks!
