Hi, Fred and all other InterAkt [RIP] fans :)

I'm in England. I'm still using Dreamweaver 8 (so one up one you, Fred, heh) and still using MXKollection! Its demise has forced me to improve my PHP hand-coding but I prefer the extensions ... Thank you very much for starting this site, hope it gathers the same kind of devoted support as the official one.

Thanks for joining Cherry.

Its success will depend on how active we all are on posting articles.
The site is receiving a good number of hits per day and increasing slowly, so interakt is still well used out there.

Hi All,

This is Steve in Ohio (USA). I've been using the KTML for JSP and still find it the best CMS wysiwyg editor available. While Java/JSP is one of the top languages for websites it has become both comical and frustrating how TinyMCE and other 'leading' editors only support PHP or .NET for advanced things such as file management and image editing.

We've been able to squeak along in the years since Adobe acuired Interakt (and then abandoned its products). Luckily, the patches users have posted have kept KTML for JSP working for IE and FF, though I am hoping that additional patches will be available for Chrome, Safari and upcoming FF 4.

While I am not a JS expert I certainly look forward to contributing as much as possible..

Cheers,
Steve

p.s. any word from the founders of Interakt? I noticed their blogs have remained silent for the past 2-3 years. I hope they are well and weren't abandoned by Adobe.

Hi Steve,
Welcome to the forum.

Yes I have fond memories of KTML as well. Sadly I just couldn't get past the fact that it was to buggy to use in a production environment and had to many clients complaining about it.
What I liked about it was the image editing ability.

Hello, I'm John and I'm an Interakt User, as they say at the meetings :D

Location: North Wales
Cats names.. Lotty, Dexter, Pixie, Willow, Amber, Niblet and Rufus (well you asked!!)
I run two large sites, a few smaller ones and support a couple of commercial clients. Interakt enables me to be so much more productive. Code that takes ages to get right by hand is up in minutes.

I think Adobe are proof that small is beautiful!

LOL my daughter calls me "The Cat Whisperer"
Fancy would come to ask me to flush the toilet if either of them used it.

Fancy also loves to play fetch. Someone once said Siamese cats are dogs in cats bodies.
That about sums up the personality of a Siamese.
