Properties panel in MAC Firefox 10

After updating Firefox to 10 the properties panel no longer works. I have a ton of old sites still using ktml and I was wondering if anybody had a work-around for this? It is showing the properties panel but it is not changing the content of the panel like it normally does.
if you click on a link for example it doesn't give you any of the options that normally would appear in the properties panel - just an empty box.
it does not display any html tags above the panel either.
I See there was a workaround for the file browser issue and i applied that fix. (THANKS!!)
