Looper not functioning after update

Postby fattonymtb » 2013-01-31 18:16

I have a site that I updated with the new ADDT tools after the client contacted me about a page not displaying correctly. The information is storing in the database, but it's not displaying. I am using the horizontal looper on the page so I'm wondering if there was a php code rewrite that it's not parsing properly?

Anyone else run into this?

I dont use ADDT but I dont think anything changes is necessary for the looper.

What changed that caused the page to stop displaying properly?
Was there an upgrade on the server? What was upgraded?

I used the ADDT to build a client's website. After the host updated php to version 5.3 one of their pages stopped functioning at the horizontal looper. I downloaded the ADDT patch on here and replaced/added the necessary files, but it still isn't working. I'm not sure exactly what changed.

Any indications in the log files on what is happening?
Look in the folder where the script is running you will find an error log.
You can also take a look at the server logs.

Set your php reporting to report all errors and see what it says.

It is hard to help if we don't know what is happening.
Is the mysql query at least returning a result?
